Forex News Trading Strategy For The Week

This week began on Sunday with Doha Oil Summit. The highlight of the week is jobs figures from UK which is on Wednesday as always this potentially has a huge impact on GBP. We will also keep an eye on US Housing and Building permits and all the speakers on Tuesday as well as ECB Press Conference on Thursday.

2:30am BST – Australian Monetary Policy Meeting Minutes.
10:00am BST – German ZEW Economic Sentiment.
1:30pm BST – US Building Permits.
2:30pm BST – RBA Gov Stevens Speaks
3:35pm BST – BOE Gov Carney Speaks.
4:00pm BST – BOC Gov Poloz Speaks.
Tentative – New Zealand GDT Price Index.

Wednesday 20th.

9:30am BST – UK Average Earnings Index 3m/y and Claimant Count Change.
3:30pm BST – US Crude Oil Inventories.

Thursday 21st.

9:30am BST – UK Retail Sales m/m.
12:45pm BST – ECB Minimum Bid Rate.
1:30pm BST – ECB Press Conference.
1:30pm BST – US Philly Fed Manufacturing Index and Unemployment Claims.

Friday 22nd.

1:30pm BST – Canadian Core CPI m/m and Core Retail Sales m/m.
