Forex News Trading Strategy For The Week 9th – 13th May

The week is relatively quiet with Forex News events. On Thursday we will be monitoring data releases during London session, there is chance to see volatility on the GBP due to BOE Inflation Report, MPC Official Bank Rate Votes and Official Bank Rate. Friday there are important releases from US – Core Retail Sales and Retail Sales.

Tuesday 10th.

10:00pm BST – RBNZ Financial Stability Report.
10:05pm BST – RBNZ Gov Wheeler Speaks.

Wednesday 11th.

2:10am BST – RBNZ Gov Wheeler Speaks.
9:30am BST – UK Manufacturing Production m/m.
3:30pm BST – US Crude Oil Inventories.

Thursday 12th.

12:00pm BST – BOE Inflation Report, MPC Official Bank Rate Votes, Monetary Policy Summary and Official Bank Rate.
12:45pm BST – BOE Gov Carney Speaks.
1:30pm BST – US Unemployment Claims.
11:45pm BST – New Zealand Retail Sales q/q.

Friday 13th.

1:30pm BST – US Core Retail Sales m/m, PPI m/m and Retail Sales m/m.
3:00pm BST – US Prelim UoM Consumer Sentiment.
