Iceland Wage Growth Slows In June

Iceland’s wage growth eased in June after accelerating in the previous month, figures from Statistics Iceland showed Monday.

The wage cost index climbed 7.3 percent year-over-year in June, slower than the 7.8 percent rise in May.

On a monthly basis, wage index increased 1.0 percent from May, when it rose by 3.2 percent.

The real wage index increased 5.6 percent annually and by 1.0 percent monthly in June.
