Euro Falls Against Majors

The euro weakened against the other major currencies in the Asian session on Thursday.

The euro fell to a 4-1/2-month low of 117.31 against the yen and a 2-day low of 1.0691 against the Swiss franc, from yesterday’s closing value of 117.91 and 1.0697, respectively.

Against the U.S. dollar, the euro dropped to 1.0642 from yesterday’s closing value of 1.0660.

The euro edged down to 0.8531 against the pound, from an early high of 0.8551.

If the euro extends its downtrend, it is likely to find support around 116.00 against the yen, 1.05 against the franc, 1.05 against the greenback and 0.84 against the pound.
