End of Day Technical Analysis Report for:

EURUSD, GBPUSD, AUDUSD, USDJPY, USDCAD

GOLD, SP500, DAX, and US30Y

► EUR/USD: as we have been saying price looks like re-testing 1.085 soon. This looks even more likely after today’s downside push. Still …not enough R:R for us to Short though.
Technical Recommendation: Stand aside.
                                                                 EURUSD – Daily

GBP/USD: a doji after yesterday’s strong surge, price still above all the averages. Price now seems destined to re-test 1.5780/1.5900 area of resistance.
Technical Recommendation: Look for price to reach 1.5780-1.5900 resistance.
                                                                 GBPUSD – Daily

► AUD/USD: we have been looking for the Aussie to bounce and re-test 0.7560 as resistance. Today’s bearish engulfing candle says this is unlikely to happen now. 0.7100 is the next support.
Technical Recommendation: Looking for price to extend to the downside towards 0.7100.
                                                                 AUDUSD – Daily
                            Back to Top

► USD/JPY: as discussed, price today re-tested 124.00 resistance. We shall see if there’s a downward rotation at this level for us to go Short.
Technical Recommendation: Re-assessing.
                                                                 USDJPY – Daily

► USD/CAD: we were looking for a convincing rejection of 1.2785 to go Short. We couldn’t have been more wrong. Price instead convincingly broke through it and now looks headed towards next resistance whihc can only be seen in the monthly chart at 1.3000. We might consider going Long on a pull back to re-test 1.2875 as support.
Technical Recommendation: Looking for a pull back to buy into.
                                                                 USDCAD – Daily
                                                             USDCAD – Monthly

GOLD: Gold today fell to re-test old support at 1142. Let’s see if we get an upward rotation.

Technical Recommendation: Re-assessing.

                                                                 XAUUSD – Daily

► SP5002100 resistance now broken. Also price closed above the 50 sma. Further upside cannot be ruled out. Next resistance is at 2117 so R:R no good from here.
Technical Recommendation: Stand aside.
                                                                SP500 – Daily

DAX30:another doji today as this market seems to be running out of steam. Still … further upside is likely from here. Next resistance at 11640. Not enough R:R.
Technical Recommendation: Stand aside.
                                                                 DAX30 – Daily

► US30Y: our STTS Long regained ground today and we are now back in the money by a few pips.
Technical Recommendation: We are Long. Position in the money.
                                                            US30Y Sep Future – Daily
